Il fiore delle mille e una nota is a contemporary music and dance festival which takes place in Amsterdam in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute and the ICK Amsterdam, and in Urbino in collaboration with the Department of Culture of Urbino.
This third edition of the festival will feature internationally renowned artists as well as young international musicians prepared to perform through a series of masterclasses by Claudio Jacomucci.
There will also be the premiere of a new piece by Claudio Jacomucci and also a premiere of a choreography by Kathleen Delaney for a group of 5 dancers.
Il Coro Durantino will sing Arcana, a piece by Claudio Jacomucci for Choir and Accordion.
The full program will be ready in february 2014. In the past editions we had the pleasure to guest cellist Francesco Dillon (Leone d'Argento at Venice Biennale in 2012 with Quartetto Prometeo) Sonia Biacchi, stylist and designer from CRT Venezia, and Coro Polifonico Durantino.
WHAT WILL YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS BE USED FOR
The contribution we ask is needed to support some of the costs of this festival, such as hospitality and a cachet for artists, and the hiring of a performance space in Amsterdam.
Make this possible! Help us to build a fresh and lively performance in Urbino and Amsterdam! We will all be deeply grateful!
