ABOUT THE PLAY:
CUANDO LAS LÁGRIMAS CAEN DEL CIELO talks about how the use of mobile phone applications (WhatsApp) and contacts (Tinder, Grinder, Wapo, ... etc.) is affecting our way of interacting with other individuals. If social networks have already marked a before and after in the way we relate to the world around us, now the applications downloaded to our mobile phones are giving way to new ways of meeting people, having dates or looking for sexual encounters.
The text by Marino Muñoz speaks of life, of fears, of overcoming pain and how we relate at this moment in the history of humanity.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Marino Muñoz is an actor, author and playwright. He studied at the School of Dramatic Art School in Valencia and completed his studies later at HB Studio in New York. Cuando las lágrimas caen del cielo will be the third text that stands. The first was Sol de Media Noche in 2009 and the second was La Isla del Hombre Lagarto in 2016. His texts address current issues related to the LGTBIQ community
However, his obsession is that his texts are not limited to this community or to this community, but that the topics that appear in them are topics that affect us equally to all the people of the planet without differentiating race, sex or condition.
"I would like my texts, my ideas, my conclusions, my way of seeing the world and of understanding it to be inclusive for all people and not exclusive to a few." That is to say that we all felt identified with conflicts over the that go through the characters that I believe and that in this way we could all enjoy the catharsis when we see them on stage, after all and from my point of view we are all the same and we all suffer and laugh in the same way and for the same problems In short, we all seek to love and above all to be loved. "
