SOME THINGS ABOUT ME
My name is Miquel Pujadó and I write a bit of everything: theatrical shows, children's and youth novels, articles, radio scripts ... but, above all, songs. Since 1982, I have published about twenty albums with my own songs (but also some monographic works on poets such as Agustí Bartra or with adaptations of the freat french songwriter Georges Brassens), and I have sung throughout the linguistic territory, but also in France, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Mexico, Estonia, etc., alone or in the company of artists such as Michel Legrand, Francesco Guccini, Guy Béart, Serrat, Paco Ibáñez, Georges Moustaki...
I have also written and composed original texts and music and adaptations for other artists: Dyango, La Salseta del Poble Sec, Guillermina Motta, Luis Eduardo Aute ...
THE NEW CD: "DE FOC I DE VELLUT" ("OF FIRE AND VELVET")
I consider the song as an Art Major, an excellent means of expression and communication, an intense synthesis of words, music and interpretation, and a way to create one's own language and personal vision (although with collective implications) of our universe.
With the album DE FOC I DE VELLUT, which will be released between February and March 2022 (40 years after my first album), I have tried to take the expressive possibilities of the Song to the limit.
The CD will include 14 new songs, musically eclectic but with a great prominence of the melody, and filled with irony ("A king of occasion", "Rudiments of anatomy"), satire ("Hell and Glory "), a non-humorless tenderness ("Helena's Blue Socks","Intersections","Like a Jacques Brel Song") and self-affirmation ("It's easy to call yourself an anarchist"," Scraps of life")
Very special songs will be the fun "Divergent Memories" (performed in duet with the actress and singer of Dagoll Dagom Aina Sánchez) and "The time of Jazz Cava", with the intervention of mythical names of Terrassa jazz as Josep Maria Farràs, Adrià Font and Joan Albert. You will also find two new versions of classical songs from my repertoire: "I am an inland fish" and "In Terrassa there is a square", which you can listen to here in a naked version (guitar and voice):
The album will feature top musicians: Xavier Batllés, Marcel Casellas, Toni Olaf Sabater, Pep Coca, Quim Ollé, David Pastor, Josep Maria Duran, Xavier Figuerola and a long list of others.
It is not easy at the moment to produce and edit an ambicious record. Your contributions will allow, among other things, to extend the hours of recording and mixing and make a good edition in digipack, with an extensive booklet that includes all the lyrics of the songs.
REWARDS AND CALENDAR
Those who collaborate to make the edition of the CD possible will have your name included in the booklet and you will receive a signed and dedicated copy at home during the month of March. And there will be other rewards ...
You can request more information by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org or privately on my Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/miquel.pujado).
Patrons can also ask me in advance for the lyrics of the songs and the unreleased recording of one of the tracks on the album.
