What is Thursday's Pussy Dogs?

TPD is a power trio. We play a personalized rock with a lot of flow, moving from blues to hard rock. Established in Pamplona/Iruña, we've been around for 8 years and we've been through everything, but always in a good mood.

Thursday's Pussy Dogs (hereinafter TPD) is a bad spanish translation of “Las Perricas de los Jueves”. The name itself is a sample of how our lyrics come up: literal translations with high spicy content that link very well with the sensory and sensual nuances that this kind of music allows. We invite you to meet us if you haven't listened to us yet!

Little Dust

• "Little Dust" (from puss.Lat. Pulvisculus)
  1. f. A spicy meteorological phenomenon coming from the farthest corners of rock, sighted for the first time in 2023.
  2. f. Describes of having fortuitous relations in a short space of time, but of a great intensity.

     

This is the third work we self-released, the second with some substance:

• Haritz Orgasm (2015). Premiere demo. We didn't even see it coming...

• Howlin' like a Shewolf (2019). First album where we learned how to get things done.

• Little Dust (2023). Consolidated as a power trio and a pandemic in between we defined the sound.

We have put in them all the sauce so that you can let your imagination run wild and accompany you in the most intimate or the most unbridled moments, as you need.

Sound and philosophy

We believe that TPD fits with a warm and somewhat dirty aesthetic, far from the crystalline; so we think that the vinyl record format can bring joy to the work. During the process we have tried to record with natural reverbs, ribbon microphones and other analog gear that can add color to the final product.

The idea has been to record them all together to capture the strength of the live performances in the songs; with our faults and limitations that make us human, and with few arrangements afterwards so as not to disassociate the album from the live performance. We hope we have succeeded! Let us know.

The Pussycampaign

Since the rise in the cost of raw materials has increased our budget by more than 50%, so we need a push to be able to get Little Dust on 200 turntables.

Fundraising

We have proposed to reach the goal of 2.000€ so that, together with our savings, the project will come to light.

The art of vinyl, as you may already know, is infinite. With the vinyl copy of 'Little Dust' we would like to be able to offer you a huge experience, both sonically, visually and graphically, so we will do what we can! If we manage to surpass the 2.000€ goal, we would like to add an interior insert with lyrics, improve the cover, change the color and thickness of the vinyl, etc... We will keep you informed of the progress!

Planning

Once the crowdfunding campaign is over, we will need a few finishing touches to send the master to be pressed. The factory will give us 12-13 weeks to receive the final products, so if everything goes well in 4 months we will be able to start sending the rewards.
