Femcees Feminist Flow es a feminist rap compilation that promote Calala-Women's Fund, supported by La Tuerka , with the collaboration of 13 femcees (rapper singers) from both sides of the Atlantic: from Spain, BKC, Efecto Doppler, La Furia, Inessa, Mai, La Omega, Phussyon, BOCAdeBABA Shuga Wuga and Larah Fémina; from Latin America and the Caribbean, Krudas Cubensi from Cuba; Mare Advertencia Lirika from México, Anita Tijoux from Chile, Rebeca Lane from Guatemala andCaye Cayejera from Ecuador.
All the benefits raised with this CD will be fully allocated to support feminist and human rights women defenders’ groups and networks from Spain and Latin America in 2015.
Femcees together to support the feminist movement
The world of rap and hiphop is full of femcees*that fight male chauvinism, sexism and gender inequalities with their ground-breaking, activist and transforming attitudes and lyrics. We want to give them visibility and recognition through this project, an alliance among femcees, activists and feminists that shows what we can do together for the rights of all women. **Support and spread our feminist flow to break patriarchy’s ears!*
Donate for the women that change the world
Calala is a foundation created in 2009 to support the feminist movement: As other women’s funds we support women, feminist and women human rights defenders from Latin America and the Caribbean and Spain in order to sustain and strengthen a movement we are part of.
Groups formed and led by young women; rural; indigenous; lesbians and trans; migrant women; domestic workers; sex workers and other activists that work to eradicate gender violence, to defend the right to abortion and other sexual and reproductive rights or to recover the feminist movement history.
With few means they achieve great changes and transform the world every day, improving their lives and their communities in both sides of the Atlantic.
In times of a misogynist and neo-liberal offensive, your support is essential to sustain the groups that work for women’s rights..
Your money creates and sustains movement
Your contributions will cover the production of a thousand copies of the CD; the crowdfunding advertising in Diagonal, Biweekly Chritical Topical Issues Newspaper ; La Directa, Byweekly catalan newspaper and Pikara Magazine, Feminist Journalism on-line Magazine; the communication campaign of the project ; the organization and advertising of the two presentation concerts in Madrid and Barcelona; the payment of the groups or femcees that will perform in each concert ** and the **delivery costs of the rewards after we finish the crowdfunding.
The total cost is 3810 euros which we hope to largely exceed.
Every aditional euro will serve to support women groups and networks from Spain and Latin America
Expected calendar
From October 1 to November 10 we gonna launch the compilation presentation blog in Verkami and we gonna publish information about the project like music videos and support messages from the femcees that participate, groups and rappers that support it and the groups and networks that are supported by Calala.
From October 19 to November 10 we will do the production and the copies of the CD.
From November 10 to November 17 we will close the crowdfunding with Verkami.
From November 17 to November 21 we will send the recompenses to you
From November 21 to December 11 we will put on sale the CD and the concert tickets that are not acquired as a crowdfunding recompenses.
On December 1, we will launch the compilation in Barcelona, in a concert with Mai and BOCAdeBABA that will held in l'Espai Jove La Fontana; we will do also a concert in Madrid and we are near to close the dates and the group that will participate.

Tras realizar los conciertos de presentación del pasado diciembre en Barcelona y Madrid y finalizar el envío de CD a todas las personas y proyectos que aportásteis para hacerlo posible, durante el mes de marzo vamos a presentar el recopilatorio con
